What is a Rainforest?
A rainforest is a jungle that is hot and thick. Rainforests get high precipitation and contain most of the world’s species of plants and animals, even though they only cover 6% of the earth’s surface. They are different from normal forests because they grow in equatorial places, for example South America, China and Australia.
